Experience
Allyson's path in the field of Social Work began when she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from The University of South Florida in 1992, followed by her Master's degree in Social Work from Barry University in 1993. She initially worked in Social Services, specializing in Substance Abuse and Gang Prevention, where she provided vital services to those in need for a decade.
Career
Allyson's career has taken her to various settings, including the streets, courtrooms, classrooms, and public speaking engagements. She has shared her insights as a TEDx speaker, hosted her own YouTube talk show, contributed to South Florida Parenting Magazine, and received recognition as one of the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County. Her vast experience extends to working with countless individuals across her career, both in the private and public sectors.
Private Practice
For the past 20 years, Allyson has been in private practice as a Licensed Psychotherapist, serving adolescents and individuals of all ages. During this time, she also immersed herself in the field of High Conflict Divorce in Family Law, dedicating 16 years to this complex area. Allyson holds the distinction of being a past Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, reflecting her expertise in resolving family disputes.
Client Success
With a laser focus on her clients' success, Allyson brings a blend of professionalism and a touch of fun to her practice. She has served on the board for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and The Florida Bar Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee I. Allyson is a trained Collaborative Law Neutral Facilitator and a former member of the Broward Matrimonial Lawyers Association. Currently, she is dedicated to her private practice, where she devotes her energy to therapy clients, supporting them in their personal growth voyage.
